We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of our cutting-edge, full-stack data annotation platform development. This role requires an individual proficient in Agile methodologies, capable of managing technical complexity across distributed backend systems (Kubernetes/Kafka), specialized frontend visualization (Three.js/WebGL), and rigorous QA automation initiatives. You will be instrumental in driving the accelerated roadmap, managing cross-functional technical teams and dependencies across pods and phases, ensuring deliverables align with roadmap milestones and hybrid development cycles.
Project Planning & Execution: Own the detailed project schedule, resource allocation, and dependencies for the development roadmap. Manage the project through Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban), including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison between Backend, DevOps, Frontend, QA, and Product teams. Ensure alignment on technical specifications (e.g., API contracts, data models) and delivery timelines.
Risk & Dependency Management: Proactively identify, track, and mitigate project risks, particularly those related to the integration of complex technologies (e.g., Kafka streams, WebGL performance, MitL integration).
Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear, timely, and transparent communication of project status, scope changes, and technical blockers to engineering leadership and product stakeholders.
Process Improvement: Continuously assess and refine the development process to improve team efficiency, throughput, and predictability, helping the team adhere to the accelerated delivery schedule.
Artifact Management: Ensure all project artifacts, documentation (including API and architecture documents), and release notes are accurately tracked and maintained.
5–10 years of experience managing complex software development projects, with a minimum of 3 years utilizing Agile methodologies (Scrum Master certification preferred), including exposure to cross-geography engineering projects.
Proven experience managing projects involving highly technical, distributed systems (e.g., microservices, cloud-native deployment with Kubernetes).
Strong technical fluency to effectively communicate with and support engineering teams working on specialized domains (e.g., data pipelines, real-time synchronization, visualization frameworks).
Excellent organizational, analytical, communication and problem-solving skills, with a track record of driving projects to successful completion under tight deadlines.
Experience managing the integration lifecycle for quality assurance (automation, performance testing) and release management (CI/CD pipelines).
